
Attorney Juel is a former staff attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (2001-04), and he has previously been employed as a law clerk in the federal district court and at the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.
Attorney Edward Juel is a 1993 graduate of Boston College Law School. Ed graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, in 1989, with a B.A. in History and a B.B.A. in Business and Marketing.
He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Louisiana, the United States First and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the District Court of Massachusetts. Ed is a member of the American, Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, as well as of the ABA Council of Appellate Lawyers.
Attorney Juel has been certified by the Committee for Public Counsel Services to accept assignments in criminal appeals and post-conviction matters in the Massachusetts courts. He also serves on the Criminal Justice Act’s appellate panel in the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Attorney Juel is an Adjunct Professor at Boston College Law School, where he teaches Advanced Legal Writing. He is also a Litigation Instructor in Boston University’s Paralegal Studies Program.
